Accommodation at Gariep, A Forever Resort consists of 44 two or three bedroom chalets, 12 dam-view one or two bedroom chalets and 12 harbour-view one or two bedroom chalets. Between the 68 chalets and 6 unit types we can cater for everyone. We also have 16 Luxury Caravan sites which have their own ablution & kitchen facilities. The Quenna Bistro is situated at the Reception building. The Restaurant can seat up to 150 persons. The Outside Deck has a splendid view and kiddies play area.
Self-Catering Chalets
2-Sleeper Chalet. Open-plan (1 double bed) (HCD2)
Gariep open-plan harbour view chalet with a double bed, bathroom with bath and separate shower. Lounge with flat screen TV and a selection of 14 DSTV channels, fully equipped Kitchen, with microwave, toaster, countertop stove, own built in braai on closed patio area and undercover parking for one vehicle. Maximum 2 Persons.
4-Sleeper Chalet. 2 bedrooms (1 double bed & 2 single beds) (HCD4)
Gariep harbour view chalet with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and full en-suite bathroom. The other room with two single beds and a separate bathroom with shower. Lounge with flat screen TV and a selection of 14 DSTV channels, fully equipped Kitchen, with microwave, toaster, countertop stove, own built in braai on closed patio area and undercover parking for one vehicle. Maximum 4 Persons.

Gariep Dam view Chalet, one Bedroom with Double Bed, Bathroom with open Shower, Toilet, and Lounge with Flat Screen TV and a selection of 14 DSTV channels, fully equipped Kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster, stove with oven, own Braai Area and undercover Parking for one Vehicle. Maximum 2 Persons.
4-Sleeper Chalet. 2 bedrooms (1 double bed & 2 single beds) (PCD4)
Gariep Dam view Chalet with two Bedrooms, one with a Double Bed and one with two Single Beds, Bathroom with Bath and separate Shower. 5-Sleeper Chalet. 2 bedrooms (1 double bed & 3 single beds) (SCD4)
Self-catering Chalet, two Bedrooms, one with a Double Bed and one with three Single Beds. Each unit has one Bathroom with either a double shower or bath and shower. Lounge with Flat screen TV and a selection of 14 DSTV channels, fully equipped Kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster, stove with oven, private Braai area and Parking. Maximum 5 Persons.
6-Sleeper Chalet. 3 bedrooms (1 double bed & 4 single beds) (SCD6)
Self-catering Chalet with three Bedrooms. One Bedroom with Double Bed and en-suite Bathroom (shower only). Second and third Bedrooms, each with two single beds, sharing full Bathroom with shower only. Lounge with Flat screen TV and a selection of 14 DSTV channels, fully equipped Kitchen, with fridge, microwave, toaster, stove with oven, private Braai Area and Parking. Maximum 6 Persons.

Caravan & Camping Sites
Camping Site With Electricity (PS)
Normal Power camping site. 1 x Paraplegic site available. Maximum of 8 people allowed per stand. Senior citizens rates are applicable during midweek only. Excludes Public holidays, weekends, long weekends, and school holidays except June school holidays. Rates are subject to type and availability.
Private Camping Site With Electricity (LS)
Private Power camping site with shower only. Max 8 People allowed per stand. Senior citizens rates are applicable during midweek only. Excludes Public holidays, weekends, long weekends, and school holidays except June school holidays. Rates are subject to type and availability.
Long Stay Camping Site With Electricity (LONGSTAY PS)
Maximum 2 pensioners, minimum 30 days, excluding peak season.
Note:
Gariep's 106 Caravan and Camping Sites all have powered points and are serviced by two neat Ablution Facilities. 16 private Sites boast its own Ablution Facilities.
- Strictly no pets and quad-bikes allowed.
- All the Sites have power points and require a male Caravan plug for use, which can be purchased from the Shop and Reception.
- We regret that no pre-allocation of Site numbers can be done - all Stands are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
- Rates for the Caravan Park are calculated per Site and per Person per day.
- Max 8 Persons per site. Rates are per night.
- Children 4 years and older: pay the per Person rate.
- Only suitable, recognised Tents, Caravans and Motor Homes are allowed.
- Sleeping in cars and bakkies will not be allowed.
- Only one Vehicle per Site included in rate. Extra Vehicles allowed at an additional fee.
- Senior Citizen discount is applicable outside peak-season, subject to availability and depending on season. These discounts are Property-specific. Please contact the Property directly.
